Yeah it's been a while

Wow, I opened this blog so long ago... I think I might actually continue it just for the sake of it. I just want to make a few updates...
Hey, I'm Gina. I'm nearing the end of highschool, which means that my spelling should be better than it was in past posts...
I'm studying 6 subjects, including Biology, Mathematics, Design, Japanese, VET Dance and of course English.
I also plan to go into architecture.

I am truly an art addict, and I can promise that my drawing skills have improved (my previous posts humiliate me)

That's all, and I hope there are readers who enjoy seeing my future art.

So far, so good.

I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while, I got home from the holidays, and boy, was I exhausted.

Anyway, I've been doing things other than sleep in till 10:30 am, which, may I add, is very unlike me, I have planted ten seeds, and started growing some mung beans. For those who are wondering, or are just plain impatient, the maples are not ready to become bonsais yet.

Family Pictures

Sadly, my family isn't that big on art, so I'm kinda on my own, though I do have a sister(who, might I say, is not as good at drawing as I,) who will put up with the occasionalbeg do draw, and can actually do quite well when she puts her mind to it.

Well will you look at that, I was all over excited about putting on posts for the holidays, but in the end, the day I got there, I forgot!   Well, anyway, here is a picture of where I'm staying in wodonga...

Step by step with Friendly neighbour Hugo!

Okay, I was a bit impatient so I started my 'away on holidays' posts. first, a small drawing lesson with my neighbor Hugo! He loves drawing with me...

Yep, Hugo's a cat.

Are You serious?

Sadly, you won't see any any more action from the bonsais for just over another month : (
Luckily, you'll be able to see pictures from the holiday I'm going on tomorrow, so until then, I'll just slowly put freshly drawn pictures on in pairs to groups of 6. Enjoy!

More Manga!?

As all regular or not guests can tell, I draw manga (Japanese drawings)  and, in
my opinion, not trying to boast, I recon I'm pretty good at it, see...

Just kidding.
That's not really
my drawing.
I'm a lot worse
than that.
Go down...

Ta daaa!

Manga Mania!

I love drawing, hence the name "art and nature". so here is something I've been working on for the past 5 minutes.

This here is a pencil/brush,rubber and home grown strawberry.
If your wonderingwhat's up with t
he pencil brush, it's because I like
to brush away annoying rubber messes with a brush so as not to smudge my drawing, so I took the end off a brush and taped it to my pencil. Neat, huh?

These are two of my "drawing manga" books. You can buy either by typing the name of one or the other at www.amazon.com.

And this underneath is a stegosaurus that I made
all by myself.

Bonsai. Small, but Great!

Bonsai, as some may know, are miniature trees or plants. And I started one today. Well, not quite yet. so far, I have 2 maples and a pot, as seen to the right. I (sadly) can't pot them until Autumn, because it would dry up in summer, and shrivel from cold in winter, so it is to be left like this for 1 and a half months, :(
Bonsais are truly amazing, and so I took photos of some at the backyard shop I went to...    for those who would like to take a look, then go to www.orientbonsai.com.au or visit 11 Mahoneys Road Resevoir Victoria.
